Restorers has come to see and believe that financial literacy is becoming a crucial piece for all young people and adults. With the increase in use of credit, debit, direct deposit, etc. people see money less and less. Our young people are not being trained in the home on how to deal with money and budgets, and many of our adults, of all income levels, also lack money management skills.

Restorers offers two twelve week sessions per year to all adults in our geographical area, and in the City of Grand Rapids target area. The fall and winter sessions are twelve week classes that provide an individual coach for each family to work on their individual budget, a matching debt program to help families see the 'light at the end of the tunnel' a little quicker, and a car ministry for those who need transportation for employment related purposes. The biblically based classes cover a broad range of topics, from saving to investing, insurance to credit reports, setting up and maintaining a budget, making wise credit decisions, knowing the difference between needs, wants, and desires, and other topics as well.
